Work in Progress

This is one of the art quilts that I am working on now. I made these great stamps with Fun Foam. When I was in Cleveland for the filming of Quilting Arts, Alisa Burke (Canvas Remix - book) was showing me her fun stamps made this way. They are 2-sided, so double the fun! I used fabric paint to stamp on my art quilt.

  2. LOL... and this is only the beginning! All of those utensils in the kitchen that are supposed to be used for cooking --- grab them for paint stamping in your studio. Who wants to cook anyway?!?!? And then there is corrugated cardboard, and tire treads, and a whole slew of stuff at the hardware store. Have fun!

  4. I've done some of my own rubber stamps, but I love the door hanger backing idea. The results are awesome!

  5. Jamie,
The colors and patterns are so fun in this one, and glad to see you are still putting the zippers to good use!

  7. Its fun to take the precut shapes and destroy them into other shapes to use on these foam stamps, too. I just bought some of the already sticky on one side foam and think that will be easier to use than glue -- which I've done in the past.
