Mixed Media Art Box

She Who Runs with Scissors
Painted with acrylic paint in layers, with stencils and a painting comb. Measuring tape fabric and scissors (color laser copies) were decoupaged. It's about 18" tall by 11" wide. I added the legs. You can click on the box to see it larger

Newspaper lettering, old pattern piece directions, scissors and buttons (color laser copies) were decoupaged onto the back of the box
Inside of box; old sewing items (color laser copies), scissors, buttons and house quilt decoupaged to inside. Old spools of thread are glued into compartments.
Left side of box with newspaper lettering, old pattern instructions, scissors
Right side of box - more of the same

It's so fabulous. Great job. Did you use a ready made box to begin with?
