Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall - Seasons of Life

Commission that measures 3-1/2 x 4 feet depicting the four seasons - Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall; fused raw edge and free-motion machine quilted; the leaves and flowers are silk and I was thrilled to find them at Michael's.

  1. wowza Jamie! That is a really beautiful piece! Isn't it great working with silk flowers and leaves - hey - its fabric any way you look at it!
    I think the quilting on this is great and the visual imagery is super. TY for sharing it with us, and grats on the commission!

  4. Wonderful- love the colors and the movement in the tree branches. And who knew silk leaves could work so well! Congrats on the commission, and I bet you are glad to be done wrestling this through your machine bed!

    Jamie, this is beautiful... love your vision in this. I spent a bit of time going back and forth on these.. couldn't help but think Virginia Speigel and Jeanne Williamson would approve.... let me see it in a way I haven't seen it before. Move me with it!!
