Make-It-University Workshops @ Festival in Long Beach

Friday, July 24th from Noon-1pm; Mixed Media Scroll Workshop; painting, stamping, hand-sewing, decoupage, canvas, chop sticks, fabric strings, screen - should be fun and messy
Sunday, July 26th from 10:30-11:30am; Convert an Altoid box into a portable portfolio with a sheet of collage artwork to decoupage onto the box - including the sides and bottom. Students will make an accordion book that is inside the box. It folds out to reveal your own artwork, quilts, drawings or words to keep with you.

  3. The Altoids box idea--incredibly clever and so terrific that it's something that can be completed during a workshop. Wish I could be there to participate.

  4. Hello my bloggy friend! WooHoo!!! Party day is just a week away! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone's creative spaces. I have a request... I thought it would be easier for everyone to leave comments if we all turned off comment moderation and word verification during the day (or maybe week) of the party. To do that, go to customize, settings, comments...then scroll down to turn off comment moderation and word verification.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and a fabulous week. See you next Friday!!
