  3. This is a different configuration than you showed below. Can you rearrange them and re-zip?! How cool is that?!

It really has a vibrant blue feeling even though you've used so many wonderfully bright colors. The doodling ties it together perfectly.

  5. I really like the happy colors and the quilting is fabulous....all those circles, spirals and squiggles. Just great!

  7. Well I know one thing.... you are not zipped up! You've created a real enjoyable piece here that just keeps giving! I'm crazy about this Jamie! And I love how you've used the positive and negative shapes you created as you worked! And of course I (shamelessly) love that.... you Mistyfused!! Would you look at those gorgeous edges! :) But what I think I am most bowled over by is your doodling combined with your play of shape and color. I love it all!

  10. Jamie... I LOVE it... what fun! Isn't it fun when you cut loose (I too am a planner.... I'm so busy that I don't have enough time to just play, sometimes to the detriment of my art and my sanity) AND it works? Especially as well as it did here.... Way cool! Cheers, Sarah

  14. LOVE THIS! This piece is so rich in texture and movement, and the color treatment is so sophisticated. I think the line of squares going through the two bottom blocks look like an abstraction of another zipper. There is so much going on that I can barely rip my eyes away. Simply spectacular!
