Houston Happenings!

I have two whimsical zippered pieces that will be on display at Quilt Market in American & Efrid's booth 1412, 14, 16, 18 using their colorful zippers and threads

Beneath the Surface, a special exhibit co-curated by Leslie Tucker Jenison and me; features the work of 37 quilt artists who have interpreted the theme 36W x 48H - Leslie and I will be in the exhibit at Festival on Preview Night, Wednesday, Nov 3rd from 5-6pm

I will be working in Open Studios in Make-It-University on the exhibit floor - Thur, Nov 4th and Fri, Nov 5th  from 10:30am-12:30pm- come by and say hello.

Workshops in Make-It-University - Leslie Tucker Jenison and I will be teaching one hour workshops in MIU - Fri, Nov 5th from 1:30-2:30pm Rootin' Tootin' Cowgirl Scissor Holster (not pictured);  Sat, Nov 6th from 1:15-2:15pm Texas Hold'em Apron (pictured) and again on Sun, Nov 7th from 1:00-2:00pm.  Workshops are by lottery and cost $10/each cash - be there 30 minutes before the class starts.  I am also attending the Art Quilt Reception at the Hyatt on Friday night at 5:30pm.

Surviving the Runway in Make-It-University  - Sat, Nov 6th from 5:30-7:00pm - this is a totally fun event that you don't want to miss on the show floor!  Come early to put your name in to participate.  We will be glad to help you with your fabulous runway look!  and then attending Gala on the Green immediately following this event. Hope to see you at the show!
