My Newest DVD is HERE!

Yes!  I am sewing the trim onto my art quilt with a free motion foot!  Being a total rebel by having blue finger nails for my DVD taping.  You only live once!
So totally thrilled to share that my newest DVD "Rebel Quilting" with Quilting Arts makes its debut today!  You can see the announcement here on Quilting Daily

The DVD is all about color, fabric selection, design and how I put it altogether to create an abstract art quilt - my style of rebel quilting.  I have all of my favorite tools around me - Martelli Notions Cutting Mat and Non-Slip ruler, Havel's Scissors and Rotary Cutter, Mistyfuse and Goddess Sheets!

Here is my muse, Julie Andrews from The Sound of Music.  The director offered me several people that I could talk to during my DVD, but Julie Andrews is my inspiration.  Helen Gregory and I sang a few bars of "My Favorite Things" before the cameras began to roll.  The download for the DVD is $14.95 and you can find it here

  4. Wonderful, Jamie. Congrats to you. I love the "back" story... They offered me Johnnie Depp but I didn't feel I could concentrate with him lookin' at me.

  5. I just downloaded your video and have been having a great time watching it! Love all of that color and the dynamic designs. I have done a little bit of fusing, but you have such great ideas and now I want to do more!
Thank you for the inspiration and instruction, and for the product ideas. I had not heard of Havel Scissors, for instance. Now I have to have them!
