Gifts for the Cut-Loose Quilters

Start with a Home Depot gift card holder on the left. I put together words and different printed paper to create a collage and then had it color laser copied.
Then I got out the scissors and cut out the words and pictures from the collage sheet - to create 8 unique "art" business card holders using matte medium. I used a gloss varnish to seal it and make it look pretty.
No two are alike. This is the other side of the card holders. There's no designated front or back. Originally the gift card box had a small screw driver on the top. I replaced it with thin ribbon and made a knot at the top. The ribbon will serve as a pull to get the lid open.

These are so fun! I am happy to be the owner of one...this is a very creative alternate use for an "everyday" item!
