What Busy Looks Like!

My desk, out in the middle of the room, because my plate is full. I try to be very organized, and storing my projects in 3-ring binders really helps me keep a clear head.

I am doing an art project with some high school age Girl Scouts this coming weekend, where they are going to use my custom made collage sheets to create their own personal flags on canvas.  I think this will be fun!

Finishing up the machine quilting on my latest boot art quilt, for my retrospect show.

A commission on the design table in my favorite color - red.

This is how I plan out my exhibits - the first three configurations are for the OC Fair - each represent 40 feet wide walls.  The one on the bottom is for my solo show in August, which will highlight my "Heavy Metal" series.  Fabric of Vision in Ashland, Oregon

This is the pile of the art quilts for the OC Fair.  The fair begins on Friday, July 16th.  I'll have a post next week all about the exhibit.

Beneath the Surface - 37 art quilts that are 3 x 4 feet.  They are for the International Quilt Festival in Long Beach, CA - July 22-25th.  For more information about this exhibit visit the Dinner at Eight Artists blog

A lot going on with 3 shows to put together, postcards made and being made, wall cards, business cards, BTS book, getting ready for Festival in Long Beach, and a commission.  I am truly blessed that I have been given these tremendous opportunities in my art quilting life.

  1. Are the papers to scale with the wall-space? That is what it looks like. Great idea!
