A Global Artistic Journey

My parents had this world globe for years, so I brought it to my studio, waiting for some divine inspiration of what to do with it.  Today, was the day.  Using my own ransom lettering, a newspaper and magazine lettering, I began my journey.
It's basically a map of who I am, and although it is not finished, I wanted to share it with you.

The things that are important to me...like family.  I would imagine that there will be time on another day to take another go at it.

Growing and changing...love.  This will look nice standing out in my art studio

Be Bold.  Onward and upward.

Friends - you are the wind beneath my wings!

  4. Love it! Could be a great Girl Scout project as well, as the girls can document their Journey thru Scouting. Pretty sure I'll be looking for globes at the Goodwill, too. Too fun!

  7. What a fun project, love what you have done. Very interested in your next step. You could even use a paper mache balloon or ball as your base and put a map on first if your don't have a globe.
