Packing and Goofing Off

If you follow my blog on a regular basis, you know that I am in the midst of packing up my studio, because I am moving to an industrial space, that is basically one giant room, with a restroom.  My current space is in an office park and is about 630 sf, broken down into 5 rooms.  I have simply grown out of my space, and there is no place for anyone to sit.  My goal is to be done packing this week.  Packing boxes is exhausting, so I'm breaking it up with the girls, and still making art here and there.  The girls are hanging out with part of my Kaffe Fasset collection.
The stash room is getting cleaned out, and it feels good to see a big accomplishment.
I have a collection of suitcases, and thought it would be good just to fill them with fabric, instead of putting the fabric in more boxes.

Yoga in the Batiks stash, before they got packed.

Fabric is packed, design table down, cupboard doors put back on cabinets.  This room is the holding area for all of the boxes and plastic storage containers.  Best place to buy boxes is Home Depot.
My paint table is the 'everything' table now, with a cutting surface, Goddess Sheets for fusing, and painting area.  Rolls of Mistyfuse are on the top of the red rolling cart to the right.  I left one box out of paint, everything else is packed.  The red paint cabinet is bare.  Next - take down the design wall, and fill in the holes. All of the quilts have been taken down already.

Yoga on the rolled paper collection.  Good balance!

Next of the agenda:  take down the hanging rod and quilts and fill holes.  Lucky for me that wire shelf unit is on wheels!
This room is packed up, and about 5 feet high or more with boxes, and stuff.  And since I was having so much fun with packing, and playing with the girls, I decided to take some pictures of myself...you know those long arm pictures?
There is a goof ball born every second

Okay, we both having something on our heads...so there!  Imitating art!

So, this is me and her. If you can't have fun, why do it?*!
