The Kitchen Tile

I was so thrilled when it came to tile day for our dream kitchen. This is 2" white porcelain tile that I bought from Wayfair.  They have great deals on tile. My original plan was for multi-colored tiles - all hexagons.  But, could not find any colors in 2" tiles.  Plan B - a black and white tile kitchen, and the accessories can ask as the 'color' for the kitchen.

The extraordinary tile guy, Gilman is an artist. He laid out the pattern on the kitchen floor.  I loved watching him work.

The backspash. The frame tiles and the nine patch are made by Daltile.  Black grout really makes them pop!

A closer view

The hexagon tiles go all the way around the kitchen, under the cabinets and around the window

Extra floor tiles were used in the garden window.  I loved this detail.

  2. Love the kitchen. Lovely tile work, great back splash behind the stove top. Great choice on 5 burner. Love the window sill detail. Will be wonderful with pops of color and create yumminess.
