Painting Days and Healing

During my recovery, I've been drawing and painting at home, with my foot up.  I've been researching quotes, and making up my own to create small works of art.  These are drawn with a Pitt Pen and painted with watercolors.
Love this quote by Albert Camus.  It is how I feel about my women friends.

Social Media and still having time to make art - a class that I will be teaching at the International Quilt Festival in Houston this Fall.  It will be an out of the box, kinda class.

A sweet country scene with a swirly sky.  The theme this month for The Sketchbook Challenge is  "Spirals."  This is my take, and you can see more of my interpretation of the theme here.

My view from the watercolor table.  There is nothing like painting outside when the sun is shining.  Truly inspirational.

  2. Wonderful pieces of art and a wonderful way to spend time while you recover. I love doing pieces with words or sayings of inspiration.
