Celebrating the 15-year anniversary of the Quiltart List, for which I have been a member for 8 years. It has well over 3,000 members from all over the world who share the common interest of making art quilts. I have made lasting friendships, learned all kinds of new techniques, and most of what I have accomplished as a fiber artist - I attribute to being a part of this amazing group.

Making Connections 15x15 Sneak Peek for the QuiltArt Quinceanero exhibition.
Mistyfused hand dyed cottons, sheers, chiffon and free motion quilted with a signature zipper. I celebrate Quiltart for all of the connections that I have made on-line, in person, many lasting, and some fleeting. The circles represent friends. The leaves remind us to remain true to ourselves and to grow in our work.
Such a tease! Can't wait to hear more.

ReplyDeleteWow! This is really cool. I am way behind on the learning curve, as I just purchased my free motion foot a few weeks ago. Very inspiring!
