Inspiration in the Garden

It's a beautiful afternoon in Southern California and it's late February and 50 degrees outside, blue skies with puffy white and gray clouds.

The Wisteria are just getting ready to bloom in full and give the garden floor a shower of purple pedals

The seedlings are popping up through the ground

My most favorite flower in the garden are Sweet Peas, and they are about 1-1/2" long.

  2. Like Kristy, I am "green" with envy. I have a lone daffodil trying to bloom on this cold, windy day. Um, did I sleep through a week? March 4? LOL!

  3. It looks wonderful. I'm in Arizona and we had snow last night. I didn't dare go look at my rosebush yet to see how it fared. The snow is gone now but it's cold.

Sweetpeas are wonderful. I am surprised more people don't grow them.

  4. Your Wisteria is beautiful!! I need to show my hubby your arbor, I need one for my Wisteria... it got a major pruning by the deer this winter, so now it is 3' tall.... All my gardens are also buried under many layers of snow and ice that is beginning to melt a bit. Maybe there will be something hiding under all that snow in my gardens. Until my treasures show up, I'll have to drool over other gardens like yours :)
