Festival in Houston - What's Happening!

Before Festival begins, I'll be cutting it up in Havel's Sewing's booth at Quilt Market - Sunday, Oct 28th from 9:30-10:30am and 1:00-3:00pm.
The International Quilt Festival in Houston begins on Wednesday, October 31st and continues onto Sunday, November 4th.  I am excited to attend this year! 
"Rituals" special exhibit, presented by Dinner at Eight Artists , sponsored by Havel's Sewing and co-curated by Leslie Tucker Jenison and me.  42 artists interpret the theme "Rituals"  Look for the exhibit on Main Street in the exhibit area!  See more on the Dinner at Eight Artists blog
Open Studios;  Thursday, Nov 1st from Noon-2pm; Rebel Quilting with me.  There will be 4 quilters working at one time per each 2-hour time slot. View the entire scheduleOpen Studios is sponsored by Craftsy.  Friday, Nov 2nd from 2pm - 4pm - I will be doing some surface design on quilts..  Open Studios is located at the end of Main Street, near the food court on the exhibit floor; come by and say hello!

 Tea Fairy House in the exhibit "World of Beauty"  miniature category.  I also have a quilt in the Girl Scout exhibit "The Mother of Girl Scouts," originally from the "I Remember Mama" exhibit. The quilt was invited to be in this exhibit.  Fitting, because Juliette Low, the founder of Girl Scouts was born on October 31st, and preview night begins then.
My art quilt "Bird Girl" will be available to purchase in the IQA Celebrity Auction in the exhibit area of the show.

  2. That will be a great fun to be part of a featival in houston. These paintings and cards are just amazing and i am sure you are gonna be appreciated for this. This cutting type thing is always difficult for me but you did so neatly.

  3. You cannot captivate your ideas, and you never should. If you think that your concepts are the ones who needs to be discussed, then Whiteboard explainer video are just something that you are looking for.
