Houston Bound

International Quilt Market (trade show) and International Quilt Festival (open to the public) in Houston is a week away.  Here are some of the things I will be doing at these shows!  Hope to see you there!

Quilt Market

Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25
10:00-11:00 Hoffman Fabrics booth #1343
Whimsical Inspirations book signing and sale.  You can buy a book or books (up to 5) at the retail price or buy at wholesale for your store and they will be shipped after Quilt Festival. Note:  I do not have a new fabric line coming out at this show.
Sunday, October 25 at 2:00pm F&W Booth # - Book Signing with Sue Bleiweiss, author and contributors - Lyric Kinard, Desiree Habicht, Leslie Tucker Jenison, and me.  Quilt Festival. Below, because Blogger is not letting me leave a caption under the ornaments.  It's all Ornamental - teaching with Leslie Tucker Jenison on Wednesday, October 28 from 9-12. Introduction to Sizzix die cutting machine, make these fun ornaments and sew them together.
Thursday, October 29 TEACHING from 9am to 5pm - Twirly Whirly Swirls - Class is FULL! Using both the Fabi and the Big Shot Pro and swirl dies in two sizes to create this truly amazing art quilt.  The fabrics will be fused with Mistyfuse, and arranged on a background with a variety of colors.  Free motion machine quilting!
Friday, October 30 TEACHING with Leslie Tucker Jenison from 9am to Noon - Painting with a Twist!  Collaborative painting on primed canvas.  Students will get a slice of the painted canvas at the end of class.  Bring an apron.
